Day 334

We checked out The Venice Piazza Mall in Taguig today. It is one of the newer dining and event places in the Metro. It is definitely not for shopaholics but for foodtrippers out there.

Day 333

Monday is often grocery day for me. SM Hypermart in Bicutan is still the most accessible for me so that's where I frequently go. But Market Market supermarket, surprisingly, has way lower prices than SM so I try my best to go there when I can. It is worth the extra miles.

Day 332

The newly renovated Red Ribbon serves salad and soups now! Ill try their pumpkin soup next time.

Saturday, November 27, 2010

Day 331

I have been trying to find something that works on "singaws" that doesn't sting. Now, I think I have. Thanks for recommending this, Didi!

Friday, November 26, 2010

Day 330

Pay your real property tax early to avail of the huge discount. It is the wise thing to do.

Thursday, November 25, 2010

Day 329

Ahhh! I think I finally did it right. This was truly the star of the night!

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

Day 328

With a lot of patience, all things can be done, in time.

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Day 327

I am now, officially, an audiobook addict. And this is my first John Grisham book ever. I started this today and I am definitely liking it.

Monday, November 22, 2010

Day 326

Some say that Puregold is the best grocery in town. I haven't been to one. So, as soon as this opens, I will go and visit.

Sunday, November 21, 2010

Day 325

This is the perfect pick-me-upper for days like this when the flu hits.

Saturday, November 20, 2010

Day 324

I took Disney for a walk and a run this afternoon. And yes, he, too, stops and tries to smell the flowers. Dried nga lang. :-)

Friday, November 19, 2010

Day 323

I have yet to open a can. I hope it is any good.

Thursday, November 18, 2010

Day 322

Max's chickens are getting leaner, thinner but pricier! It is way better to make this at home yourself. As long as you have Jufran Banana catsup, you would be good to go.

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Day 321

Road and traffic signs seem to be mere options and not rules to the moronic drivers in the Metro. They just wouldn't follow!

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Day 320

I was passing by a school this morning and saw this flag waving high and proud that I had to slow down and take a shot. The sight took me back in time and I had a surge of nostalgia; suddenly missing singing the National Anthem and reciting the Panatang Makabayan every morning in school during my younger years.

Monday, November 15, 2010

Day 319

I'm glad it is back! Only Magnolia makes Pinipig Crunch the way it should be.

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Day 318

It wasn't easy to say goodbye to my well loved Palm T|X and Nokia e63, but these two new gadgets are definitely worth the change.

Saturday, November 13, 2010

Day 317

There have been talks that Ayala Land has finally purchased FTI Complex in Taguig. Oh boy, do we then expect a new mall and condo buildings arising here soon? I sure hope not.

Friday, November 12, 2010

Day 316

It is hot, filling and tastes pretty good, actually. Not bad at all for its price!

Thursday, November 11, 2010

Day 315

Ads in the most unlikely places ... I wonder if this really works.

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

Day 314

Yes, they come in ube flavor now. Thanks for the pasalubong, Mel!

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

Day 313

I do not get to feast on burong talangka as often as I want because I don't know how to make this. So when I do get the chance, I make sure I have a huge pot of hot steamed rice and spicy vinegar on the table.

Monday, November 8, 2010

Day 312

This collage of photos hanging on the wall of Savory Restaurant's Festival Mall branch showcasing their different branches through the decades past is proof that it has truly come a long way. And Savory has seen the beauty of Manila that was! Manila's beauty may have faded but Savory Restaurant's classic roasted chicken hasn't.

Sunday, November 7, 2010

Day 311

We went on another trip to Greenwich to try their pizzas this time, and ordered their Philly Cheesesteak Pizza which was surprisingly good. Not bad at all. This is probably the first time we have ever tried their pan pizza and it didn't disappoint.

Saturday, November 6, 2010

Day 310

My niece received her Sacrament of Confirmation today together with a Eucharistic Celebration. I took this shot right before the offertory and I was able to get really close to the body and blood of Christ.

Friday, November 5, 2010

Day 309

This is one of Greenwich's dessert additions to their growing menu... Brazo de Mercedes. A small slice costs about 99php, pretty steep for its size. But at least it does taste the way brazo should.

Thursday, November 4, 2010

Day 308

This truck caught my eye as it travelled along C5 road because it was dripping liquid from its load. And I read the crudely written sign in the back: "HAZARDOUS WASTE TRANSPORTER". WTF!

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Day 307

Even their sodas in can are now dressed up for the yuletide season!

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Day 306

I had no choice but to "renew" my passport... This is my first portable hard drive; all 320G of free space for my tv, ebook and audiobook downloads and files! When your internal space has reached an all time low of 9MB just like mine had, you will know it is time to get one.

Monday, November 1, 2010

Day 305

We lit not just one.... not just two.... for our dearly departed, today on All Saint's Day. Our simple way of telling them that they are never forgotten.
