I couldn't relax even for a second while I was tailing this truck in heavy traffic carrying all these metal rods. It felt like the rods would come sliding off towards my car any moment!

I am glad that Magnolia's frozen delights are coming back. This used to be called Twin Popsies because they came in pairs, but you had to crack them in the middle to split the two. Now, Popsies come in singles. I got one yesterday and it still has that same Magnolia taste I have always loved as a kid.

Chowking's new item on their menu: Tender Beef Broccoli. I tried this for lunch. It didn't really impress me much. The beef slices were tender alright. But the overall taste was just bland. I still prefer their Braised Beef to this.

Pappa Roti is the newest addition to the chain or roti shops around the Metro, and to the coffee shops in SM Bicutan. I was able to try it today and it was good. The coffee flavored crust isn't too sweet, the buttered bread inside is soft and moist... served warm (with free iced tea for its opening promo), it makes for a great meryenda!

We went to Greenhills today expecting to be stuck in heavy traffic in Ortigas... but lo and behold... we couldn't believe what we saw as we were approaching the area of La Salle Greenhills... we had the road almost all to ourselves! No traffic.. no jam.. no cars picking parked along the road while waiting to pick up kids from school! Swerte! I can't say the same though for the opposite lane.
