Day 365

I did it! I took the Daily Photo challenge and passed! It wasn't as easy as I was expecting, but thanks to my canon ixy who was a very patient and reliable companion every single day of the the entire year that was, I was able to breeze through it and got thrilled with every press of its shutter. Good night, 2010 and Good morning, 2011!

Day 364

I was suprised to find a Drive Thru Starbucks outlet in The Fort today. Pricey coffee addicts, me not included, must be ecstatic about this.

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Day 363

And after Christmas, the calorie loading continues! Thanks, Mel, for this huge delicious chocolate cake!

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

Day 362

We had nachos for snacks today at this small booth in Shoppesville in Greenhills called Kamicos. It was pretty good! And I think we shall be coming back to try the rest of the items on the menu. Tacos, their bestseller, would definitely be next.

Monday, December 27, 2010

Day 361

We chose to watch Rosario from among the MMFF entries this year. It was good that I wasn't expecting much when I went inside the moviehouse. The movie had a lot of flaws and weaknesses. But, overall, I wouldn't call it bad.

Day 360

I was never really a fan of Victoria's Secret's body mists until I met Secret Charm.

Saturday, December 25, 2010

Day 359

One of the mainstays every Christmas ... the quezo de bola. It brightens and cheers up the table during Noche Buena and on Christmas Day... not to mention every breakfast thereafter!

Friday, December 24, 2010

Day 358

The wait is finally over! And now, the unboxing...

Thursday, December 23, 2010

Day 357

We picked up my in-laws at the old MIA tonite. And the people picking up theirs came in packs and throngs. I guess most Filipinos will never change. When sending off and picking up our loved ones at the airport, Ingkong down to Utoy and Ining must be there with the entire clan!

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

Day 356

For those lazy Me-moments, a corner at a small coffee shop is an ideal place.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010

Day 355

I have not been putting up my Belen for several years now. Too busy, too lazy, I don't know. Maybe next year, I will. For now, I would just eye my Mom's Belen with envy.

Monday, December 20, 2010

Day 354

This has probably got to be the the gummiest and most chewy California maki I have ever had! Too chilled, perhaps, Tokyo Tokyo?

Sunday, December 19, 2010

Day 353

"I think I need a bath, Mom!"

Saturday, December 18, 2010

Day 352

I love receiving calendars like this at the end of the year. With big numbers... red numbered holidays... blanks and spaces for scribbles and notes... definitely not decorative, but very practical.

Friday, December 17, 2010

Day 351

Poinsettias just can't help but bloom and prettify during the yuletide season!

Thursday, December 16, 2010

Day 350

Some things, no matter how promising they may have seemed, aren't just meant to be.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Day 349

Second I tried was their Spinach soup which I liked more than the Pumpkin soup of the other day. It is much tastier, creamier and saltier. I had it for meryenda and it was very filling that I almost didn't finish it.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Day 348

Red Ribbon serves soups now. First I tried was their pumpkin soup. T'was not bad. Tasty but not overpowering. A good way to start your meal. I wish it came with more croutons, though.

Monday, December 13, 2010

Day 347

I wonder how these would look in full bloom...

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Day 346

When it's Greek, it can only be Cyma. Only the best for the birthday boy.

Saturday, December 11, 2010

Day 345

It does taste pretty close to the original butterscotch. Now I won't need to go to Iloilo when the craving hits.

Friday, December 10, 2010

Day 344

I was trailing this truck on the road one day and traffic was at a snail's pace. I didn't know then which was a scarier scenario... that bulldozer on the truck sliding backwards and crushing me and my car... or that man falling off the bulldozer!

Thursday, December 9, 2010

Day 343

A spot-on a month helps keep the fleas and ticks away!

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Day 342

Looking for the cheaper alternative to your overpriced caffeine fixes? Well, 7-11's French Vanilla Cappuccino definitely is way cheaper at 40php, but doesn't fall short on the taste! I'm no fan of coffee (still), but this one, I think, I can be.

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Day 341

This is the Selecta version.... War of the Pinipig Crunches na! Again, Selecta vs. Magnolia. Magnolia gets my vote each time. :)

Monday, December 6, 2010

Day 340

Binlid... it sells for only P20 a kilo. My furkids love it mixed with their regular food. My budget does, too. Thanks to Chito Morales for recommending this for Disney and Margaux.

Sunday, December 5, 2010

Day 339

Creamy Brazo Sundae and Oreo Hot Fudge Sundae from McDonald's... their new holiday chills! A His & Her treat for Mon and Me. He loves brazo de mercedes, I love anything chocolate.

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Day 338

That's not Santa's pic; that's Beard Papa's. These are heavenly puffs! They are just the right sweetness... perfect creaminess and oh so deeelicious!

Friday, December 3, 2010

Day 337

Those yellow and black stripes painted at the corner of the curb mean something. And they most certainly don't mean "Park Here"! Duh!

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Day 336

You don't need to spend too much for one hot cup of coffee goodness. Right, Dunkin'?

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

Day 335

After ginataang hipon the other night, ginataang alimasag can't be far behind. The first of December deserves a special homecooked dinner. Recipe to come!
