I just hope they are true to what their packaging says.

Day 179

The weather has increasingly become erratic lately. It was a scorching morning today but ended with a heavy downpour acompanied by thunder and lighting. All in one day! Weird.

Day 178

Bonsai is truly nature and artwork combined. Exhibited at Quezon Memorial Circle grounds.

Day 177

I got advanced tickets for this Wednesday. And it made the collector of the items in the picture very very happy... and need I say, excited!

Friday, June 25, 2010

Day 176

I was on my way to work this morning when I saw this and I just had to stop and take a shot. The climb to the top was probably the easy part for this goat! Poor fella, he can't seem to find his way down.

Day 175

Totally addicted! This game is what's been eating up my online hours!

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

Our ever reliable abanico is helping me survive this this hot rainy season!

Day 172

It took us several brands before we found The one that we liked best. And yes, it is guiltless.

Day 171

This is STAR Tollway. It stands for Southern Tagalog Arterial Road.... a new 42 kilometer expressway which runs from Santo Tomas all the way to Batangas City. A welcome treat for roadtrippers... shortens and eases driving to the south of Luzon.

Day 170

It is one of the better snack bars around...

Day 169

I am stil recovering from a nasty bout of Exudative Acute Tonsillo-Pharyngitis (thanks to my dear friend, Dr. Ferdie Baquiran for starting me on antibitoics). And as if ATP is not enough punishment, my tummy acted up as well! Watery poop and episodes of vomiting have left me drained of battery life. I need to recharge.... and fast.

Thursday, June 17, 2010

Day 168

Fresh fruit, whole wheat cereal, non-fat milk.... it is a power breakfast!

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Day 167

The best variety we have tried. The way we like our Japanese rice.

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Day 166

I thought I could live without one after losing my Casio. I can't pala.

Monday, June 14, 2010

Day 165

This is the best part about brownouts... getting serenaded by your OTL. Uyyyyy, so cheesy! Well, I guess there really isn't much left for him to do without any power in the house but play.

Sunday, June 13, 2010

Day 164

I wish we could have stayed to watch but we didn't have the time. I didn't even know there was such a competition! I wonder what the rules and mechanics of the contest are.

Day 163

Ahhhh... another All-You-Can-Eat place in MOA where one can drown in food and more food. It was another night that I totally gave in to the calling of salmon sashimi and more!

Friday, June 11, 2010

Day 162

Kanin Club's Crispy Dinuguan was truly worth the trip. I have never had any dinuguan like it. ... crispy like its name says.... this is one dish I highly recommend. Only at Kanin Club.

Day 161

I decided to go for this katcha bag from Kultura instead of the pricey lappy bags I saw online. Verstatile... way cheaper.... and very Pinoy.

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

Day 160

Exactly what I want. New recipes.... new ideas... and hopefully, delicious creations! For only php100, I am glad i grabbed a copy.

Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Day 159

I love their fitting rooms ! I tried on almost a dozen pairs of jeans in search of that one perfect fit and I didn't have a tough time at all. They're so spacious and stylish! And in a fitting room like this, trying things on is also a visually pleasurable experience!

Day 158

Homecooked is always the best.

Sunday, June 6, 2010

Day 157

I don't mind paying.

Saturday, June 5, 2010

Day 156

This structure caught my eye when I was in Boni Hi this afternoon. Taking a closer look, I found out that this structure is a Dap-ay or Ato, a sacred stone paved courtyard that functions as a traditional seat of government among the Bontocs. It serves as the village dormitory where much of the community wisdom is passed on to the young males of the tribe.

Friday, June 4, 2010

Day 155

This is a Japanes-food lover's paradise! Shelves after shelves of Japanese sauces, candies, noodles, teas, rice, dairy products, cold cuts, even frozen delights ... anything that your kitchen needs whose label is written in Japanese is right here in Yamazaki grocery located in Little Tokyo, Makati. I got a bottle of teriyaki sauce today for only P128... Don't forget their dining area where you can enjoy great tasting food, yes, Japanese food.

Thursday, June 3, 2010

Day 154

Yes, Russia makes Nestle, too.

Wednesday, June 2, 2010

Day 153

I, myself, could not believe it sometimes how I am able to drive in this crazy traffic, battling my way not just against other drivers on the street but against other "stuff" I have to put up with...
.... a motorcycle rider who insists on making a lane for himself in between moving vehicles.... a biker who asserts his right to pedal through his own lane alongside fast moving motor vehicles .... and yes, not to be outdone is the banana peddler with his wooden cariton who squeezes his way right in the heart of it all! Driving these days is just a friggin' nightmare! Truly!
