Bielle wasn't spared. The varicella virus got to her, too. I visited her today and am glad she is doing okay. A few lesions here and there, low grade fever, no loss of appetite... I am sure she will be well real soon.

A shopping bag in a bag, that is what this is. Because it is made of very light yet sturdy material, it folds tightly into its own small pouch that fits any bag I am using. I simply unfold it and it turns into a shopping bag like magic! For only P99.00, it is a practical buy, I think.

This sight jolted me out of my boredom at the stupid traffic we got caught in on our way to work. I cringed when I saw the worn out condition of these tires on a sixteen-wheeler container van! It is an accident waiting to happen, heaven forbid! If this isn't a highway hazard, then I don't know what it is. Inspection of these huge trucks should be done with the strictest of rules. Let us work on keeping our roads safe.

I am taking a gamble here because Cherry Mobile is not exactly a popular brand. But it has the cheapest basic qwerty phone I am looking for... no camera... no bluetooth... no infrared.... (features I do not really need in a spare phone). A practical choice, indeed, if you ask me.

We used to make polvoron in Practical Arts class from powdered milk and sugar and a little butter, then shaping them with a mold and wrapping them in colorful sheets of papel de japon! Thanks to Goldilocks, the polvoron has come a long way!
