It is truly one of the toughest nuts to crack!

  2. madz, that's pili nut. yup, the very common pili na usually candied or caramel coated. that's pili in the raw. sarap din sha freshly cracked lang. twas my first time to see pili in its shell. :-)

  3. Ah, kaya pala! I've tried pili nuts na may caramel coat, di ko sya nakilala ng naked sya! haha!

  4. ako din nga eh... my friend from bicol brought me these as pasalubongs. kasi nga she knows na di pa ako nakakakita nyan. kain lang ako ng kain ng candied. never the nude form. LOL!
    and, the shell is really unbelievably tough! i really used an ax to break it open. and with several blows ha!
